1 2 = 3: A Poker Competitor’s Worth is Determined by His Bottom Line

A number of poker techniques will amaze you with their simplicity. This is sample. Note your conclusions, every single time you bet.

Church of hold’em Psalm #four:

Thou must write down thy successes and thy loses; for it is the sum of all a persons accomplishments which generate his/her bottom line.

How accurate is up to you. I tend to believe that hourly details and that kind of intimate detail is wasted. Basically work out how much in front you are and how much (if anything) you have taken out. Of course, if you don’t win, note that too, no matter how much it it might pain you.

Don’t overlook to note what type of game you’re playing, if that is significant to you. (In my experience, most gamblers stick to what they know and do not experiment. If all you note is winnings, down and withdrawals, you are light years ahead of a majority of gamblers around!)

Give yourself actual goals, such as a ‘dream’ target (new car, vacation or whatever). When you take out, add the dollars withdrawn to your dream counter. The more prosperous you are, the closer that dream will be!
