Four of Poker’s Nice Pros

No Joke, huge amounts of people want to be the next "star" in poker, but here is a short list of 4 of the more noteworthy "great pros" of the game. Even though "nice" is associated with their names when you are sitting accross the table from them it’s "no more Mr. Nice guy" up until they have removed you out of the game!

Daniel Negreanu

In Two Thousand and Four, his tourney payouts added up to more than 4.4 million dollars and he attained two highly respected awards in the World Series of Poker Player of the Year and Cardplayer Magazine’s Competition Player of the Year. In Feb 2006 he was appointed Card Player’s Favourite Poker Player. Daniel even still has the humility to talk to his fans about how they could advance their own game.

Howard Lederer

Referred to as "The Professor" and sibling of fellow poker pro Annie Duke. His accomplishments have lead to him making an educational video named "Secrets of No Limit Hold’em" and co hosting a tournament poker show for Fox. As of 2005, his complete life time earnings surpass 2.7 million dollars.

Scotty Nguyen

Scotty is one of the most active players in professional poker and from Two Thousand and 2004 he ranked in the money in excess of 100 events. He’s notorious for saying "yeah baby" during poker games and also credited with the phrase "that’s poker baby" when alluding to a particularly bad defeat. As of 2006, his career earnings are just about 6 million dollars.

Chris Ferguson

Chris has won five World Series of Poker titles with 2 of his successes coming in Two Thousand and Three. Has the nickname "Jesus" because of his trademark long hair and beard, that, and along with his ability to throw cards quick enough to slice through pickles and bananas. As of 2005 his total live poker tournament earnings exceeded 5 million dollars.
